OET (Occupational English Test)

Healthcare-specific English for nurses and other professions. For OET Nursing, the UK NMC currently accepts at least grade B in listening, reading and speaking, and at least C+ in writing. Visit the official OET website for the test format and dates.

IELTS Academic

An academic English test the NMC accepts, including IELTS Academic UKVI. Target: at least 7.0 in listening, reading and speaking, and at least 6.5 in writing. See official IELTS test information.

The computer-based theory test for UK nurse and midwife registration — Part A numeracy and Part B clinical.

NMC CBT

Pass Part A (numeracy) and Part B (clinical). Part B is mapped to the NMC test framework.

For OET Nursing, the UK NMC currently accepts at least grade B (350) in reading, listening and speaking, and at least C+ (300) in writing. For IELTS Academic, the NMC currently accepts at least 7.0 in reading, listening and speaking, and at least 6.5 in writing. Combination rules may apply — always check the latest NMC guidance before you book.

Most candidates need four to eight weeks of focused preparation. Your placement test result sets a realistic plan — some learners need longer, and we will tell you honestly.

Classes are live and interactive, in small online groups. Recordings are shared afterwards so you can revise at your own pace.
